Developments In The Field Of 3D Computer Animation

Animations have come a long way since Walt Disney?s cartoon characters from 1920's appeared. Just look at movies such as Finding Nemo and Jurassic Park. Even TV shows such as Babylon 5 where classic animation went into new dimensions- warp speed - with one exceptional tool - the computer.

The computer may speed up the creative process as well as the time required for getting film or television shows on the screen. Even Julie Andrews has said - while working on the Shrek 2 movie "film animation has come a long way since we frolicked with carousels cartoon penguins, sheep and ponies in Mary Poppins".

The computer is only a tool though. Without an artist skilled in work with the drawing board or computer mouse it does not create anything unique. And artists need proven solutions and programs which they can rely on when creating beautiful images.

Suitable computer software helps with teaching the skills necessary for a successful outcome. Computer animation could be described as a well-functioning marriage between art and science. I think this says it all.

One of the largest and most rapidly evolving areas in computer graphics and animation is the computer-games field. Computer animation and software are constantly improving to keep pace with the graphics which is still complex even the hardware technology is simplified.

Also because computers have become almost as common as pencils and pencil boards in classrooms - including schools and nurseries a variety of software applications developers have proposed several programs for young children. Children can learn to create 3D images as well as some other skills designed specifically for their age. Many features of educational software (such as interactivity) are completely identical with the educational principles. That is a huge benefit.

If you have children you might be interested in educating them in computer animation. Then simply choose from the programs available for these purposes. Through fun games, cartoons, guides and even a simple vocabulary children learn basic computer skills they will need to use other computer programs. Take a look at a couple programs some of which have even got bonuses as a mouse pad or book publications such as My first software and more.
